HILTINGBURY EXTRAVAGANZA!
So - what was this event all about?
Well - it was organised by the Hilitingbury Community Association as a 'fun day' - and it certainly was just that!!!
CPYT went along mainly as a PR opportunity, but it turned into a fund raising event for us at the same time!
With thanks to Richard Hughes and Frutina Ltd of Southampton, we did alright on the money making stakes - in fact we did very well!
Richard with his team of sellers ran our 'market stall' while the Frutina inflatables attracted a great number to 'have a go'. Even our Director 'had a go'.......
As did Jason, one of the Crew....

While Cast members were getting on with the serious stuff of entertaining the crowds and promoting what CPYT is really about....
They did very well in the performance department as well - the 'audience' was treated to ensemble, solo and street theatre work, with Jack Simmonds playing various pieces on his saxaphone.
Everyone who turned for CPYT worked very hard during the event and we had lots of interest in our display, with people taking information leaflets and 'Oliver!' flyers.
It was a good day for CPYT!
