Carnival 2006 - CPYT Style...
Once again the CPYT Team came up with a GREAT entry for the 2006 Carnival Procession.
Using an idea from a few years ago, it was decided that we enter another toy fort - built better this time!
Entitleded 'I Fort It Was A Toy Box', the fort was pulled and pushed around the streets of Eastleigh in an attempt to gain as much of the crowds' cash as possible for Carnival funds.
It has to be said that this year the crowds were down on previous years, so the overall money collected was probably down as well, but in true CPYT tradition, the Cast of the entry did its utmost to drag every penny it could from the spectators.
To our delight, we again were awarded the trophy for Best in Class an on its presention, Councillor Davis-Dear thanked CPYT for all the work it does in the local community, commenting that it really is appreciated.
